Boombox Mod

I modified an old JVC boombox.

1. I dismantled it
2. I spray-painted the case
3. I removed some unwanted electronics:
   • The transformer (it was way too heavy. I installed a port to connect an external 12V DC supply instead).
   • The subwoofer (it was useless).
   • The CD player (it didn't survive stage 1).
4. I modified the left cassette bay to accommodate my digital audio player (iAudio X5L).
5. I did some simple rewiring so the DAP plays through the amp.
