Workshop on Numerical Analysis and Applications

Venue: Trinity College Dublin.

This workshop was dedicated to John Miller's contribution to numerical analysis, on the occasion of his 65^th birthday. Several colleagues and former students were invited to give talks on a variety of problems that John has been working on during his academic life. These included:

• singularly perturbed problems
• problems with initial and boundary layers
• semiconductor device simulation

Journal publication:

A set of articles (associated with the workshop) were published in a special issue of the journal Computational Methods in Applied Mathematics.
