Martin Naughton

Founder, Owner and former chair of Glen Dimplex, a highly successful Irish electrical firm. Apparently  Ireland's fourth richest man (according to the Tribune's 2001 edition of their annual "100 richest" list) with a personal fortune in the region of £325m. Of his interest in the Sunday Tribune he told Business Plus magazine "I saw the Sunday Tribune as a quality paper and that's why I invested in it. I had no ambitions in the media itself and have no intention of ever using it as a power base."
