Registering for the 2008 conference

Do you need a visa to attend Europtrode IX?

Citizens of certain countries require an entry visa for Ireland. For more information on visa required countries, please visit the Irish Government Department of Foreign Affairs website (www.dfa.ie/home/index.aspx?id=8605).

If you are planning to attend Europtrode-IX and require a visa to enter Ireland, you should contact your nearest Irish embassy or consulate as soon as possible to start the application process. Please click here for a full listing of embassies and consulates (www.dfa.ie/home/index.aspx?id=285).

To support your visa application, you will require a letter from us, as conference hosts, to confirm your attendance at Europtrode IX. This letter will also give details of the nature, dates, place & duration of conference, and confirm that your registration fees have been paid.

Important note: you must register your attendance at Europtrode IX and pay the full registration fees before you can request a letter from us to support your visa application (click here to register online now)

Once you have registered for Europtrode IX please email tracy.dixon@dcu.ie to request a letter of support for your visa application and give full details of the postal address to which the support letter should be sent.

PLEASE NOTE THAT VISA APPLICATION PROCESSING TIMES VARY AROUND THE WORLD AND YOU SHOULD START THE APPLICATION PROCESS NOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR VISA IN TIME TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE
